Web search allows the user to find text-based resources from collections all over the world. If images are tagged and web-accessible, they can also be found this way, and often are, either through public search engines or library collections. What would it take to expose not only text tags but also audio and video transcripts, ID3 tags and folksonomic attributions to such a search tool? How can we combine the best of library cataloging and digital repository efforts with the flexibility of a Web 2.0 architecture?
