The Visual Studies Initiative supports summer undergraduate research experiences and graduate fellowships. Applicants are encouraged to consider key aspects of the visual studies initiative, which can include collaborative and/or interdisciplinary projects, novel approaches towards understanding the visual, and a clear connection between the theory and the practice.
